Emergency Valve Stem Repair Replacement from Colby. Imagine you're on the trail and your wheel gets hung up on a tree root and the valve stem snaps off. Traditionally, you'd have to pull the tire off the bead to push a replacement valve stem through the inside of the wheel. And that's IF you remembered to carry spare valve stems!
Instead, pack one or two of these rescue valves with your recovery gear. They mount from the outside of your wheel and are a permanent replacement valve stem. They work with all wheels with tubeless tires. The 1/2" brass hex nut or the plastic wing nut tighten in seconds for a quick fix that will last as long as your wheel.
In fact, the first thing we do at the shop when we get new wheels for our off-road rigs is install a set of these. We prefer the brass hex nut as the plastic wing nut is more prone to breaking (but works great in an emergency when you leave your tools in your other rig).
