NEW! All Ventoso Tire Inflator Gauges now come standard with the Hi-Pressure Push-On Chuck V2 (HiPPO2). The new HiPPO2 features a shallower bite depth to fit on shorter valve stems such as metal TPMS and Apex Rapid Precision Valves (RPV) as well as a narrower nose to fit in to recessed valve stem holes like you'll see on some off-road wheels. The new ridged collar design allows you to more easily grip the chuck with gloved hands or in cold weather. It has a 1000 psi working pressure with a simple to use push-on, pull-off engagement and it is fully rebuildable.
This is the Safety Series version of our Long Haul 0-160 psi liquid analog tire inflator. Originally designed for RVs and Motorhomes with higher pressure tires, the Safety Series tire inflators feature a long 6 ft. hose whip. What's the long hose whip for? With higher tire pressures comes increased danger in the event of a sidewall blow out or "zipper burst". The longer hose allows you to stand up and off to the side, out of the way should a tire failure occur. Check your tire pressure and inspect your tires for damage often to prevent uneven tire wear and reduce the chance of an accident.
The Long Haul Safety Series is built on the latest gen Ventoso Tire Inflator body. The Ventoso is unique to Power Tank and features higher flow internals and a pressure cast body for extreme durability. Two bleed buttons are easy to reach with either hand and help you get precision tire pressures. We use brass pistons and EPDM O-Rings that won't tear when faced with the higher pressures that a Power tank puts out (up to 400 psi), though it will work with any air source. All this results in super tight tolerances in the finished product which means years of leak free usage.
The 160 psi gauge is filled with silicone and has a protective rubber boot. This is to protect the internals from vibration and drops. We use silicone because it doesn't slow down in cold weather, unlike cheaper glycerin filled gauges. It is accurate to +/- 3.2 psi. For increased accuracy, see our Work Horse Safety Series with a 150 psi digital gauge. It is accurate to +/- 1.5 psi.
