Regulator Options
You have a choice between a high pressure HP250i regulator with 250 psi max output or an extreme pressure XP400 regulator with 400 psi max output. Which one is right for you depends on what you will be using your Power Tank for.
Tire air up speed is determined primarily by flow rate or the cubic feet per minute (CFM) of the gas. The HP250i boasts a 45 cfm flow rate and the XP400 outputs 48 cfm. Not a large difference in tire air up speed between the two. A high-end compressor puts out 5-6 cfm for comparison.
Most air tools require between 100-150 psi to operate. Both Power Tank regulators are more than up to the task.
Both regulators are dual gas, meaning they work with both CO2 and nitrogen (N2). You would use your Power Tank regulator with N2 if you need to service shocks, hydraulic bump stops, or air struts.
The HP250i exceeds the needs of about 95% of our customers. Unless you have a specific use case for more than 250 psi output pressure, we recommend our tried and true HP250i.
Hose Options
All Power Tank hoses are specially made to handle the extreme pressures and low temperatures that comes from high-flow CO2. Our Super Flex hoses feature a co-extruded shell construction which captures a nylon weave between two separate layers of high durometer Durathane material for a 400 psi working pressure and 1200 psi burst pressure. With high-pressure swivels at both ends, this is the most high-tech a hose can get.
The 30 ft coiled hose will stretch from where your Power Tank is mounted in the back to the furthest corner of your Four Door Wrangler Unlimited. It is much faster to put away than the straight hose.
The 30 ft straight hose will reach a bit further without worrying about the coils catching on corners of your vehicle. It is also the preferred hose to use when working with air tools as it does not pull your tools away from you like a coiled hose would. The downside is the extra time it will take you to coil back up when you're done using it.
Depending on how you use your Power Tank, a 10 ft hose may be the best option. For longer vehicles like full-size pickups or RVs or set ups where you need to remove the Power Tank from its mount before use, the 10 ft hose is the least obtrusive of the three. Pair it with a Safety Series Tire Inflator with an extended hose whip to make airing up a cinch.

The 10 ft coiled hose is the simplest to use when our 30 ft hose options are not long enough for your RV. The 10 ft hose is the least obtrusive and lightest which makes carrying your Power Tank from tire to tire easy. When combined with a Safety Series or a Big Kahuna Tire Inflator with a 6 ft hose whip, the combined 16 ft of length is the optimal way to reach your tire valve stems. No crouching, no lengthy hoses to get tangled up.
If you plan to use your Power Tank for more than topping up RV tires, a 30 ft hose, either coiled or straight, will help to increase the versatility of your Power Tank.
Coupler Options
Our standard Power Flow 3 Coupler is one of the nicest air tool couplers on the market. While most use 3 or 4 ball bearings to lock your tool, ours uses 8 balls for extra security under high pressures. Full aluminum construction with machined heat fins for better thermal transfer. It fits 1/4" industrial male plugs.
For a small upgrade price, you can step up to our Super Coupler (a $33 value). It's universal and accepts four different male plug types so it will take any air tool you encounter in the shop or on the trail. Even better than that, the Super Coupler features an internal bleed. This means that when you connect or disconnect your air tools, you're always doing it at 0 psi, despite having 250+ psi in your hose. You're never fighting pressure in the hose to clip in, and your tools aren't shooting off when you unplug them. They are so nice to use and reliable, that we have customers buying them in bulk to upgrade all the hoses in their shop and businesses.
Bracket Options
The Super Bracket included in all Power Tank Packages is the best way to hard mount your Power Tank. It is powdercoated satin black with durable rubber trim and comes with a lockable quick-release latch. The 5 lb Super Bracket works with most Power Tank 'Piggy-Back' secondary brackets like our vehicle specific JL Sports Bar Mount or Billet Roll Bar Clamps.
If you'd like to forgo hard mounting your Power Tank, choose a Padded Speed Bag instead of a bracket. The Speed Bag is constructed of durable padded ballistic nylon and has enough space for your hose and air up tools. You won't be disappointed with the quality.

It is powdercoated satin black with durable rubber trim and comes with a lockable quick-release latch. The Super Bracket works with all Power Tank 'Piggy-Back' secondary brackets like our vehicle specific Wrangler mounts or Billet Roll Bar Clamps.
We also carry a Power Bracket for 10 and 15 lb Power Tanks. This is used for floor mounts and has pre-drilled holes on the bottom to attach it to the bed of your truck or a custom platform. If you are not mounting your Power Tank vertically to the floor, we recommend the standard Super Bracket.
For high-speed off road driving, we offer COMP straps as an option for both brackets. The dual t-bolt stainless steel straps are much more secure than the standard quick-release latch, at the expense of not being able to lock your Power Tank. These COMP straps are necessary if you drive faster than 35 mph off-highway or if you hang your Power Tank with all weight resting on the strap. They can be used in addition to the standard quick-release locking latch on our Super Bracket and can be added to your cart here. They are an either/or option on the Power Bracket.
The Straight Jacket combines dual strap strength with the convenience and lockability of the Quick-Release latch. It is a high-strength alternative to the COMP bracket for high speed driving. It utilizes the Super Bracket frame with two Quick-Release straps.
Another option is to forgo the hard mount entirely and keep your Power Tank in a padded Speed Bag instead of a bracket. The Speed bag is constructed of padded ballistic nylon and has a dedicated pocket with pass-through for a hose and a pocket for air up tools. It's great if you regularly use your Power Tank away from your vehicle.

For high-speed off road driving, we offer COMP straps as an option. The dual t-bolt stainless steel straps are much more secure than the standard quick release latch, at the expense of not being able to lock your Power Tank. These COMP straps are necessary if you drive faster than 35 mph off-highway. Do not hang your Power Tank from the bracket. Make sure that the weight of the Power Tank is on the bracket or is supported by the bottom.

Tire Inflator Options
We offer five gauge options on our Tire Inflators (TIGs). 0-60 psi liquid analog, 0-160 psi liquid analog, 1.5-60 psi digital, 5-150 psi digital, 0-100 psi Racer Series digital.
The analog gauges are liquid-filled with silicone which maintains a low viscosity when cold and prevents vibration damage from driving over varied terrain. The accuracy of the 0-60 psi analog gauge is +/-1.2 psi and the 0-160 psi analog gauge is +/-3.2 psi.
The digital gauges feature a backlit screen for easy reading in the dark. The LCD display also shows battery level. They operate off of two AAA batteries which are easily accessible. The digital gauges can be recalibrated. The digital gauges are twice as accurate as their analog counterparts; the 0-60 psi digital gauge is +/-0.6 psi and the 5-150 psi digital gauge is +/- 1.5 psi.
For unparalleled precision and accuracy, choose the Racer Series digital gauge. This gauge has +/-0.25 psi accuracy across the entire range; it's sensitive enough to read your own breath! Each Racer Series gauge has been tested for accuracy and comes with testing certification.
Standard or Safety Series
The standard whip option on Power Tank Tire Inflators is a stainless steel braided 2 ft hose whip long enough for most people to stand up fully while airing up, even when the tire valve stem is close to the ground.
For those wanting more length, we also offer a 6 ft stainless steel braided hose whip on our Safety-Series TIGs. The added length was originally intended for 'stand-away safety' when airing up high pressure RV and trailer tires in the rare event of a tire failure. The added hose length is also preferred simply because it makes the Tire Inflator easier to use and easier to read the gauges.
Tire Inflator Options
The Package C Power Tank comes standard with an upgraded Digital Tire Inflator Gauge, normally a $33 option, in your choice of 1.5-60 psi or 5-150 psi.

Six Shooter Tank Knob
Replace the plastic knob on the top of your Power Tank with one of our billet aluminum Six Shooter Tank Knobs. They are anodized in a variety of colors to give your Power Tank that extra touch of personalization and bad-assness that it deserves.
BTS Bag Add-On
The BTS Bag is a storage pouch designed to fit in the space created between your fender and the BTS Bracket. It is accessible by dropping your rear seat and sliding out. It is constructed of a durable ballistic nylon with a double zipper closure for easy access of tools and accessories. We keep our tire inflation tools inside but it is also great for emergency supplies, recovery gear, snacks, or whatever else you can think of.

==========================================
The 20 lb. Package A Power Tank is a great entry-level Power Tank System. With double the CO2 of a 10 lb. Power Tank, a 20 lb. Power Tank is built with high pressure tow rig and trailer tires in mind. It has a large capacity at the expense of limited portability making it a little more cumbersome than a smaller Power Tank if you need to remove it from the bracket it and walk it down the trail. It is best left in the tow rig or trailer at base camp where you can drive your UTV up for quick tire air ups and utilize the maximized CO2 capacity to air up multiple high-pressure/high-volume tires after driving on the sand. The Package A includes a mounting bracket and everything you need to air up tires or run air tools.
For mounted pictures, see our Mounting Ideas page.
A Power Tank is the fastest and most powerful portable air solution. With the power of CO2 you can air up faster, reseat bigger tires (tested up to 46 in.) safely, and run air tools at full power. To see what Power Tank performance looks like for your tire size, check out our tire air up chart. Based on tire size and amount of air you are adding, it will tell you how many tires you can fill on one tank and how quickly you can do it. As an example, you can air up from 20 psi to 60 psi on a 35 in. tire in 38 sec. and you can air up 32 tires before needing to refill your 20 lb. Power Tank! The same size tank can also remove 720 lug nuts using a 1/2 in. impact wrench before empty. When it's empty, take your tank to a local fire extinguisher service shop, welding supply store, or beverage carbonic shops, and have it refilled for about $20-$35.
The secret to this performance is Power Tank's Super Flow Regulators, adjustable regulator designed to maximize output pressure and flow rate simultaneously. Power Tanks boast a 45 cfm flow rate compared to the 5-6 cfm found in high-end 12v compressors. All Power Tank regulators are guaranteed to never freeze clog and are backed with a limited lifetime warranty. This is the only portable air system that will outlive the vehicle it's mounted to.
This incredible system mounts easily in just about any vehicle or trailer. The best part? This self-contained, compact system is portable and easily moved from vehicle to vehicle, walked down the trail to help a broken rig, or transported from the chase truck to the race car all without power cables or long air hoses to run.
