Choosing Between 10 lb and 15 lb Systems

The 10 lb Power Tank is the go-to choice for trail rigs with up to 35 inch tires, capable of airing up 30 tires from 15 to 25 psi before refilling. A 10 lb system can also remove 360 lug nuts at 90 ft/lbs with a 1/2 inch impact wrench on a single fill. The 15 lb bottle offers 50% more CO2 capacity, making it ideal for larger tires, extended overland trips, or rigs that see heavy use between refills. Not sure which size fits your needs? Use our CO2 tire fill calculator to estimate how many tire fills you'll get per bottle based on your specific tire size and pressure requirements.

Package Options Explained

Package A systems include the essentials: CO2 bottle, Super Flow regulator, Power Grip Guard handle, hose, and push-on air chuck for tire inflation. Package B adds convenience with a dedicated tire inflator with gauge for precise fills and a Super Coupler for running air tools safely. Package C (Rotation Systems) are designed for users who want to maintain multiple bottles in rotation for maximum uptime. Track Pack editions swap hard-mount brackets for padded Speed Bags, perfect for race support crews or users who move their system between vehicles.

These mounts install with basic hand tools maximize cargo space by utilizing factory mounting points or roll bar real estate. Roll Bar Editions fit 1.5-2.5 inch tubing and work across multiple vehicle platforms, while MOLLE/Pickup Editions integrate with bedside racks and tactical mounting systems.

Refilling and Operating Costs

When your Power Tank runs empty, refill it at any fire extinguisher service shop, welding supply store, paintball shop, or beverage carbonics supplier for $15-$25. Find a refill location near you using our CO2 refiller map. Use our refill adapters to fill your own bottles from bulk tanks and save even more. This makes operating a Power Tank significantly more economical than the electrical draw and maintenance requirements of 12v compressor systems. Power Tank systems require zero wiring, no power draw from your vehicle battery, and have no mechanical parts to fail in the field. With an industry leading limited lifetime warranty, one Power Tank will save you compared to replacing a compressor every few years.

Why CO2 Outperforms Compressors

Power Tank's 45 cfm flow rate dwarfs the 5-6 cfm output of high-end 12v compressors. That speed advantage translates directly to capability. CO2 systems safely reseat tire beads without the heat buildup and fire risk associated with explosive methods, and they run impact wrenches, die grinders, and other air tools at full power. Our Super Flow regulators will never freeze clog and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Need to customize your setup further?
